AARGH!!! I know I will laugh about this tomorrow but there is a slight technical issue that is forcing me to start over. Audacity has somehow combined the temporary files from 213 and 214. Basically the show spends a minute or two on 214 then reverts to 213 and back to 214.
The good news is that I have the original unedited recordings from 214. The bad news is I have to start over tomorrow. I will post info here. I thought the show was finished and ready to post. I apologize for the delay.

My wife and I got back this afternoon and I started editing 214. It should be up tomorrow night. I will post more details as we get closer. It will be the last part of JLA/Avengers and listener emails and voicemails.
215 and 216 will contain special guests as we look at some of DC’s current releases while Jim is in Italy. Lots of very cool events to talk about in recent releases.

Jim and I are preparing for vacations but we want to make sure you have content during that time. Jim will be in Italy for 3 weeks. During that time, I will be airing a very special Speeding Bullets show (tonight). We cover Brightest Day 4, Generation Lost 3, Booster Gold 33, Birds of Prey #2. We also chat about the film Jonah Hex, the future of DC films and television and much much more.
As a bonus, we had an opportunity to chat with Daryl Gregory, cowriter of Dracula: The Company of Monsters from Boom! Studios. We will be airing the fun interview we had on this episode as well.
After Episode 212, we will have 2 more JLA/Avengers Episodes covering issues 3 and 4 which were previously recorded to plan for this vacation. I will also be bringing on some friends of the show to discuss current comics while Jim is on vacation so you’ll still be getting some great content.
I’ve begun editing episode 211. JLA/Avengers issue 2. 212 will be another Speeding Bullets show. There’s been some fantastic comics to discuss.

Longtime listeners know that late May and early June are my end of the year report cards for my students. I will be wrapping these up Monday or Tuesday and will work on the show when they are complete.
That will put the new episode of the show out Tuesday or Wednesday.
This week we’ll be talking about current books via speeding bullets again and continuing our look at JLA/Avengers as we start to discuss issue #2.

I am making a slight change this week. I want to start airing the JLA/Avengers programming. I am going to start heavily editing Thursday Night. If I don’t finish then, it will be up Friday night. I want to thank Kent Hare for joining us. This looks like it’s going to be a 4 part epic.
