Biting the Bullet

This news really has me torn. I loved Earth One and am thrilled we will be getting a sequel. I really thought it was a stellar Superman story.

I am not a fan of a writer leaving major story arcs midway through though. That being said, I like the writers attached to replace him. I feel it is hard to take over for an arc created by another writer. I am liking both stories a great deal so have hopes that the new teams can continue the quality.

Hey all,
I really want to thank you for your patience. My teaching career has report cards and conferences this week and it’s my most hectic time. We have a show recorded and I am gradually editing it. Conferences are running late tomorrow. There is a small possibility of a Thursday Night release. Friday will be for sure.

We have more from NYCC and conversations with Myron Rumsey about Brightest Day 13, Emerald Warriors 3 and Green Lantern 58. We will discuss GLC next week.

Okay, so, without getting too personal up in here, the main reason why I haven’t done this in months is because of school. But, while that’s still an important thing, and it takes precedent, I know that I need to keep an active writing habit, and gushing and sometimes ranting about Batman comics is a perfect way to do so. Basically–I’ll try for weekly, and let’s see what happens, savvy?

So for the new people–this is the Bat Casebook, where I take the latest Batman comics that came out during the week, give small recaps, and then review them. Why should you listen to my opinions? Because I’m a snarky young adult on the Internet. And therefore Very Important. So enough of the explaining and the personal times, let’s get to the comics.

New show mid week

Hey Everyone,

This is my report card week but I have also been fighting a flu bug. We’ll definitely have a show this week but it will be mid week. My goal is Wednesday night. It’ll only be Thursday if editing takes longer than I think.
