  1. Regarding the question of who would you have liked to see Clark encounter on Smallville? I can’t say there was a glaring character omission (besides Bruce and Diana), but it would have been nice to have had Gotham City and perhaps Wayne Industries at least be mentioned. The build up of the “Super Friends” is grossly incomplete without the knowledge that the DC Universe exists outside of Smallville (though I believe Gotham might’ve been mentioned once or twice?). We’ve already had to suspend our disbelief regarding the team’s membership itself (Cyborg? Impulse? Even Green Arrow felt wrong originally). To not even acknowledge Bruce and Diana – or Gotham City/Wayne Enterprises – will have been the one thing we can all look back on and shake our heads.
